They were upfront about what the cost to repair would be, and that they did not think such a costly repair would be worth it on a vehicle of this age. Thought they were honest. Could have serviced the transmission fluid and possibly caused damage because of the age of the transmission. Instead, they checked codes (there weren't any) and topped off the fluid. They offered to put the cost of the checkout towards major work in the future. I'm a fan.
